Diagnostic Records & Treatment Planning

Diagnostic Records & Treatment Planning

At your first consultation, Dr. King may recommend obtaining additional information called diagnostic records to study your problems in more detail. This is necessary to thoroughly diagnose and formulate the most appropriate treatment plan for you. These diagnostic records may consist of study models, digital photographic imaging and orthodontic x-rays possibly including state of the art 3-Dimensional CT imaging.

Dr. King may refer the patient to other dental specialists to plan and treat the case. Some orthodontic cases require multiple aspects of dentistry to achieve the desired results. Once these orthodontic records have been obtained, Dr. King will review them and determine a customized treatment plan to address your orthodontic concerns. Our office will set-up an in-office consultation to review your proposed treatment plan, and set-up appointments and financial arrangements necessary for you to begin your orthodontic treatment.
